RBWM are running a consultation about the Council Tax support scheme.
If you are on a low income and are of working age, you currently pay a percentage of your Council Tax bill.
The Council is considering changing the current level of assistance for 2020/21, for working-age people, from a maximum level of 91.5% to 80% of Council Tax liability, after any other discounts or exemptions.
The change will only affect those who are of working age who are on a low income. If you are a pensioner, you are not affected.
The consultation can be viewed online here. It closes on Friday 7 February.
