PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS.
Sunningdale Parish Council is a non-political Council dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living and working in the village. Seven people have put their name forward, and this being less than the ten vacancies, the seven will be elected unopposed on 7 May. The Council must then co-opt to fill the 3 remaining vacancies.
The Parish Council meets once a month to take decisions affecting all aspects of life in the Parish, establishing policies for action, and deciding how much will be raised and spent on behalf of the community. It is responsible for spending public money lawfully and achieving the best value for money.

3rd April A Wildlife in Ascot talk on “Voles” by Prof Pat Morris, world expert on small mammals, at 3pm in Sunningdale Parish Offices. Everyone is welcome

Community Garden We have had a “standard” winter, neither too cold, nor too wet, nor too mild. Early outdoor sowing and planting of hardy crops could do with slightly warmer daytime temperatures than we are experiencing at the beginning of March.
