Car-parking charges delayed
Cllr Bathurst, Councillor for Sunninghill and S Ascot, writes: “I am pleased to be able to report that these will not now be implemented immediately, as first proposed. There will instead be a short delay of about two months. This time will allow us to consult with local residents as well as the business community and the parish councils. Feedback from this will be used to adjust the parking charges to make them as fair as possible and to maximise convenience to residents.”

Changes at the Rec.
Work at Broomhall Recreation Ground over the autumn and winter period included:
- a new toddler area with sand pit
- the installation of several pieces of play equipment, including a new climbing frame, RockNBowl, Cobra Seesaw and Dragon Challenge, all paid for from S106 Developers’ Contributions
- the creation of a path across the Rec for people who walk towards the woods, to join with the existing path to the shops/station
- the replacement of the Groundsman’s garage / storage area
- the addition of a canopy between the pavilion and the Groundsman’s garage.
