A30 London Road upcoming closure
There is to be a temporary road closure at the level crossing on the A30 London Road, Sunningdale. Emergency services will be provided access at all times.
Date & times: Each night between 22:30 hours and 05:30 hours from Monday 6th June until Wednesday 8th June 2022
Location: between its junctions with the B383 Broomhall Lane and Ridge Mount Road.
Diversion: For eastbound traffic is from the A30 junction with Grove End (slip road) to the A322, southbound past junction 3 of the M3, to the junction with the A319 Bagshot Road. The diversion route continues eastwards, via the A319 Vicarage Road, to Chobham following the B383 Windsor Road, then northwards via the B383 Chobham Road, to rejoin the A30 at Sunningdale. For traffic travelling westwards the diversion will by this route reversed except the link between the A322 and the A30 is an unnamed slip road. For vehicles over 7.5 Tonnes there will be an alternative diversion in place via the M25 & M3.
Reasons: To facilitate level crossing improvement works.
