Re-opening our town centres
From Monday 15 June non-essential retailers are re-opening for business in line with government guidelines.
RBWM have put in place extra safety measures to make sure that residents and anyone visiting the borough or working in our local businesses stays safe. This includes introducing an enhanced schedule of cleaning and sanitising of public spaces, social distancing and directional signage and safe access for shoppers.
RBWM town centre management teams will be monitoring the situation next week and will provide extra assistance or signage if required.
We are working with as many retailers as possible, but please be aware that businesses may choose to re-open at different times.

Borough Local Plan update
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead’s emerging Borough Local Plan is now able to move a step closer to delivery.
The borough council carried out consultation on these proposed changes late last year and examination hearings were due to take place earlier this year but were paused due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Once adopted, the plan will run retrospectively from 2013 until 2033 and will help guide where developments including housing, leisure, retail, office and open space should be sited and how they will fit in with existing and planned infrastructure.
